General Description
The goal of the CIMO Fellowships programme is to support students and researchers from all countries and academic fields who wish to carry out their academic activity in Finland for a period of time between 3 and 12 months. The fellowships will consist of a monthly allowance intended to cover the living expenses of the grant holder, whose amount may vary between 900€ and 1200€.
Requirements
The visiting student or researcher should contact a Finnish higher education institution to serve as host university; the appropriate department of this university should then apply to CIMO for the grant on behalf of the student or researcher. All applications should be submitted at least 5 months before the intended scholarship period. The following documents should be provided along with the application: a motivation letter from the applicant, complete CV of the scholarship candidate and a short research plan (between 2 and 5 pages). Two printed and signed copies of the application form with the required attachments must be sent.
