General Description
The Dan David Prize is available for research in science, arts and humanities. Three prizes are awarded each year, each for one million US dollars. The first prize is for research focused on the past. The second is for study that helps develop and improve the lives of people today. The third is for research into future developments that will improve society.
Requirements
The prizes are available for individuals or institutions. Winners must have excelled in their field of study in the past and made a contribution to society. Ten percent of the award must be given by the recipients to graduate students.
