The De Osma Studentship is available to members of the University of Oxford. It is for students of any nationality and lasts for around six weeks, usually during the Easter holidays. The scholarship is open to both graduate and undergraduate students. Only one scholarship is available and it is worth £3000.
Candidates should be concerned with Spanish studies, such as Spanish art history, Spanish language and literature, Spanish history, Spanish geography, or Spanish archaeology. They must provide evidence that they have sufficient knowledge of both written and spoken Spanish. They must also be willing to study in connection with the Instituto de Valencia de Don Juan in Madrid in any subject for which facilities are provided. Each application should be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from a tutor or supervisor.
