General Description
Swedish Writers' Union offers stay scholarships. Twenty-six of stay scholarships, each constituting a two-week stay in Ariane Wahlgren’s house in Athens, are awarded. Eight stay scholarships of a one-month stay in Kavalla in northern Greece are also distributed. Six scholarships to Hôtel Chevillon, Grez-sur-Loing in France include a stay of one month. To Runmarö, in Stockholm’s archipelago, it is possible to acquire a stay scholarship of one month. Free accommodation and travel expenses of 3,500 Swedish krona are included in all the scholarships (except Runmarö, which only includes free accommodation).
Requirements
If the applicant has received a stay or travel scholarship from Swedish Writers’ Union within the last four years, he or she may not apply.
