The Bank of Portugal offers the Bank of Portugal Prize. This is an annual award for graduate or post-graduation students. The Bank of Portugal may also attribute 2 money prizes to honourable mentions. All money prizes will be awarded during the JOCLAD (Jornadas de Classificação e Análise de Dados) thematic session.
First year graduate students cannot apply. Eligible students have to write and submit a scientific article for juror appreciation. If there is more than one author, the first name on the list of authors will be considered the official candidate to this award. Students can submit only one article. They can, however, be co-authors of more than one article. The submitted articles have to be unpublished and original at the time of their submission. They cannot have been sent or disclosed to any scientific journal. All articles have to be written in Portuguese or English – size 12 font, 1,5 spacing. They cannot exceed 25 pages.
