General Description
The Elisée Legros Awards are given annually to researchers who have submitted work of quality in one of the following areas: Walloon dialects; Walloon folklore; varieties of French in Belgium; toponymy and Belgian anthroponymy. Two awards are given, one for graduate dissertation for € 500, and the other for a doctoral thesis for € 1500.
Requirements
The work submitted, whether published or unpublished, must have been produced within 3 years preceding the award. The award is only open to students and researchers at ULg whose dissertation or thesis is in one of the following areas: Walloon dialects; Walloon folklore; varieties of French in Belgium; toponymy and Belgian anthroponymy.
