General Description
Students with a disability can access financial support through the Special Support Grant. This grant is also extended to those who are single parents who are starting a full-time undergraduate programme. If awarded this grant you are likely to have qualified for income support or a housing benefit. Depending on your circumstances, the maximum amount you can get is £3,387 per year. You cannot get bot this grant and the Maintenance Grant. If you are a recipient of this award it will not reduce the amount you would get for a Maintenance Loan.
