General Description
Government of Spain-Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport has loans available for masters and postgraduate students. The general purpose of the loans is to facilitate the financing of university education for a master's degree and doctorate, leading to official degrees that are taught in Spain or the equivalent in the EU, the US and Canada. The maximum amount of loan available is one initial payment of €6,000 a year, and a monthly income of €800 per month for a maximum duration of 21 months. The maximum amount of the loan that can be requested is €240 per credit, up to 60 credits for PhD candidates.
Requirements
Candidates must have Spanish or EU nationality. Foreign students may be eligible if they have been resident in Spain for at least 4 years. Candidates should be enrolled in a Masters or Doctoral programme at a university for at least 30 credits.
