Federal Student Aid-Subsidized and Loans (USA) gives Subsidized or Unsubsidized loans for study abroad for a semester or year, to get a degree from an International school and International Medical Schools, that participate in the Federal Student Loan Programs. The annual limit for loans fluctuates from $5,500 to $20,500.
To obtain any type of loan, applicant must be enrolled at least half-time at a school that participates in the Direct Loan Program
Direct Unsubsidized Loans are open to undergraduate, professional degree students and graduates applicants; there is no requirement to prove financial need. The school will establishes the amount you can borrow.
Direct Subsidized Loans are offered only to undergraduate scholars.
The students are responsible for recompensing the interest on a Direct Unsubsidized Loan during all periods.
