General Description
The student support fund of the University of Cologne aims to facilitate a successful completion of studies to students experiencing difficult social situations. These have to enrolled at the following institutions: University of Cologne, the University of Music and Dance Cologne and the German Sports University in Cologne. To this end, student loans are being awarded. Students who are enrolled in a course with the Diploma, Magister, state examinations, Bachelor or Master's program can apply for an interest-free loan of up to 3,600 Euros for a period of between four and nine months.
Requirements
Eligible applicants include students of all disciplines at the University of Cologne, the German Sports University Cologne and the University of Music and Dance Cologne. An application may only be made if at least two thirds of all have credit points have been acquired (Bachelor's Degree) or submission of examination application (Diplom, Magister or State Examination) has been demonstrated. To obtain this loan, financial need should be present. The application must be submitted three months before the start of the scholarship. There are no further personal requirements.
