General Description

The University of Essex understands the difficulties care leavers can face. That is why the university offers the Care Leavers Bursary. It is for students that have been in local authority care. The bursary is worth up to £1,000.

Requirements

All applicants must be registered students at the university. They must also have been in local authority care before pursuing their undergraduate degree. Applicants can be new or continuing students.
