The National Scholarship Programme, in cooperation with Royal Holoway, gives financial awards to students at the University of London. It is for students whose household income is £25,000 year or less. The number of scholarships is unlimited. The household income must be verified by the Student Loan Company. Each scholarship is worth £2,500 for the first year of study. If scholarship holders remain eligible they can also get £2,000 in the second and third years of their studies.
In order to be eligible students must be liable for the full £9,000 fee for their degree course. The only other requirement is that Student Loan Company verifies that the household income of the applicant student is £ 25,000 or less. It is not necessary to apply for his scholarship as the university automatically contacts eligible students.
