General Description
The Newcastle University offers the Promise Scholarships, worth up to £9,000 each, to students are from low income backgrounds who have demonstrated an outstanding level of academic ability.
Requirements
The Promise Scholarships are intended to support prospective first year UK/EU students of the Newcastle University coming from an area which is classified among the 10% most deprived in the UK. The household income of candidates should not exceed £15000; they must be predicted to achieve AAB at A level. These scholarships are also available to care leavers.
