General Description
The Intel, Shannon Women in Technology Scholarship is a great award opportunity. It is open to Secondary school female students. The applicants must be in their sixth year or 1st and 2nd year third level. Successful students will receive a grant of €2,000. It will be awarded for the remainder of their degree. Student mentoring and placements are avaliable from Intel also.
Requirements
Applicants must be in their sixth year or 1st and 2nd year third level. Only female students are eligible. Successful students must maintain a 2.1 grade. It is avaliable for these courses: LM051 BSc Computer Systems, LM060 BSc Mathematical Sciences, LM080 BSc Electronics, LM083 BSc Mobile Communications and Security, LM110 BSc Computer Games Development, LM113 BSc in Digital Media Design, LM114 BSc in Music, Media and Performance Technology, and LM118 BE Electronic & Computer Engineering.
