General Description

The Research Council of Norway offers a cash prize of NOK 250 000 to a member of the research community showing extraordinary ability and innovation when communicating results from his or hers research. The prize is called The Research Council's Award for Excellence in Communication in Sience. Great efforts in promoting the country's research or knowledge about the significance of research to society may also be awarded.

Individuals and members of the research community can apply. The aim is to reward creative and original communication measures. The initiative must have a public interest. All sorts of public spreading, through any media, can be awarded. The research activity may be ongoing or completed.
