General Description
The main purpose of the competition "Your Thesis in Three Minutes (T3M)" is to raise awareness about current research projects on computational intelligence which are being conducted at Spanish universities and research centres. Participants in the competition should be able to summarize their doctoral theses in a short presentation, where they will be set to explain their project using a language that the general public may understand. The winner will be awarded a prize worth 1000 euro; there will be two smaller prizes of 300 and 150 euro which will be awarded to candidates coming in second and third place.
Requirements
This competition is open to PhD students working in doctoral dissertations related to computational intelligence at a Spanish university. Applicants must demonstrate their ability to communicate scientific and technical ideas in a clear and direct manner to a non-specialized audience.
