General Description
The KAAD is the sponsor of the Eastern European scholarship program. The program aims to support students from the following regions: Middle, Eastern and Southern Europe, the Caucasian region and Central Asia with their studies in Germany. Stipends are granted to all fields of studies. This program especially targets postgraduate students working on their Doctorate degree and planning to conduct research in Germany (maximum 3 years), college professors (up to 6 months) and Master students (1 semester).
Requirements
Students must possess a very good command of the German language. Applicants must be catholic (or belong to a different Christian confession in exceptional cases). Exceptional study and research performance is a must to be considered for this program. Ecclesial and social engagement is desired.
