PREL grants are available from the Regional Council of Nord-Pas de Calais. The aim of this funding is to give young students from poor families the ability to pursue long term studies. The grant consists of €1000 plus academic advice and workshops.
Applicants must be holders of an L1 or L3, and must be living in Nord-Pas de Calais or have parents who are. You must be enrolled in one of 6 regional public universities, or one of the following institutions: The Catholic Institute of Lille, Ecole des Mines de Douai (ENSM), the National School of Arts and textile industries (ENSAIT), the Engineering School of the Opal Coast (EILCO), the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Lille (SKEMA), Faculty of finance, Banking and Accounting - Lille 2 (CBF), the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commercials (EDHEC), higher Institute of Agriculture (ISA), the School general engineering high-tech (ISEN), the Ecole des Hautes Etudes engineering (HEI). Candidates must be facing financial hardship.
