General information on this scholarship
General Description
The Local Boroughs Scholarship values £5,000 fee waiver in addition to £1,000 whether taken as (a) discount on the cost of accommodation for on-campus (b) a cash award (c) an additional fee waiver. There are 10 scholarships. The scholarship will be for 3 years that subjects to the criteria of progression. The scholarships are going to be allocated in early September after the publication of UK A-level results of examination.
Requirements
-The scholarships will start with applicants who have achieved the highest numbers of tariff points exceeding 360 (without Key Skills). Applicants also should choose Brunel University as the firm choice at UCAS. They must attend a full college or school (not private or indepepndet schools) in Ealing, Brent, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hillingdon, Harrow or Hounslow. Applicants must be from a low-participation neighborhood, care leaver, disable including dyslexia, having a low assessed household income, low-socio economic background or having parents with not higher education qualification.
