General Description
The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) has grant funding available for postgraduate training and research in the social sciences. A variety of grants are available ranging from tuition fees, a maintenance stipend or funding towards programme related expenses. These grants are extremely competitive.

Candidates should be postgraduates engaged in training and research in the social sciences.
