The OFID scholarship programme is aimed at providing outstanding young students from developing countries with the opportunity of a graduate study in the UK. The award is merit-based. Tuition fees and all supplementary required fees are paid directly to the institution. Health insurance is also paid directly, in accordance with the institution's medical scheme. Four times a year, the student receives a monthly allowance is deposited to the student's bank account. This is to pay for accommodation, books and study material and living expenses.
