The Oxford-Louis Littmann-Geza Vermes Graduate Scholarship is funded by the University of Oxford and by donations. It is for students starting a DPhil in Oriental Studies, specialising in Jewish-Christian relations in late antiquity. It includes a grant for living expenses. This is valued at over £13,700 a year. University tuition fees are also paid. The scholarship is given for the duration of the course. If this is more than one year there is an annual review to ensure satisfactory academic progress has been made.
Students must be on the listed course to be eligible. They must also be from the European Economic Area or Switzerland. It is awarded based on past academic performance.
