General Description
The Modern European Language Scholarships (MELS) aim to attract the most outstanding language students to UCL. Five scholarships are awarded annually. The scholarship is £5,000 per year for the duration of degree course, up to a maximum of 4 years, renewable subject to a 2:1 grade each year. The award is given solely on the basis of academic merit.
Requirements
Applicants must be domiciled in the UK or the EU. Applicants who have confirmed their acceptance on a programme offered by the School of European Languages, Culture & Society or a language based programme offered by the School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies will be automatically considered for the Scholarship. There is no need to apply.
