General information on this scholarship
General Description
The Hungarian State Scholarships offered for research or postgraduate studies last for 3-21 days or 1-10 months. The scholarships are available for those who are holding a Master’s degree or equivalent degree including those students holding PhD who want to do research for the dissertation and wish to stay for less than 10 months in Hungary. PhD students will not earn credits during the period of the scholarship at the host university. HUF 79 200 stipend a moth in addition to HUF 70 000 allowance for accommodation per moth also. The Balassi Institute HSB Office will be paying these funds.
Requirements
The limit of age is 40 years.
Those who are with a residence/migration permit or in course of applying for a permit in Hungary are not eligible. Foreign students who have permanent residence in Hungary or employed on permanent basis aren’t eligible too. Those who are in employment applying for part-time studies or for programmes that are not financed through Hungarian State aren’t eligible for applying.
