The FELLOW-MUNDUS project offers scholarships to students of Latin America whishing to study abroad in a european state. The maximum period for a scholarship is 10 months for undergraduates, 24 months for masters students and 36 months for doctorates. The scholarships cover a monthly allowance of 1000€ for undergraduates and graduates and 1500€ for doctorates. It also covers tuitions fees, insurance costs and travel expenses.
Applicants must be enrolled students and nationals of the following countries: Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Panama, Colombia and Uruguay. Evaluation of candidates will be done by a partner university (if the student is registered there) or by the coordinating institution (if the student in not enrolled at a partner university). Selection is based on academic achievements and personal motivation of the applicant. Criteria like disabilities or financial difficulties will be taken into consideration too.
