UK universities charge tuition fees. Tuition fee loans are provided by the UK government to help students cover these costs. Loans are available for up to £9,000 for full-time students and £6,750 for part-time students. They are awarded annually. They have to be paid back but not until the student is working and earning at least £21,000 a year.
UK and EU students can qualify for tuition fee loans. This includes students studying at private colleges or universities.
