Students at the University of Sheffield can get an extra £1,000 from the Sheffield Bursary Scheme based on where they live. If a student’s household income is less than £25,000 a year and they live in one of the country’s most deprived areas as defined by the government, they receive £1,000 a year on top of any other financial support they receive.
To be eligible students should have a household income of less than £25,000 per year. They must also live in one of the country’s most deprived areas, as defined by the government.
