The Sir Richard Stapley Educational Trust offers grants worth between £300 and £1,000. They are available to students doing degrees in medicine, dentistry and veterinary science. They are also available to postgraduate students in any subject. They are awarded on the basis of past academic performance and financial need.
Students must be over 24 to apply. They must also be on a postgraduate degree course or an undergraduate degree course in one of the listed subjects. PhD students in their final year of study (third year) cannot apply. Other courses are not included including electives, diploma courses, PGCE courses, and professional training courses. Students who have received a major award from another organisation will not be successful.
