If you are a student of the Faculty of Theology and Religion at the University of Oxford you are eligible for the Canon Hall Senior Prize. The subject of examination is the New Testament in the original Greek. You are expected to write about tradition, criticism, interpretation and authority. There are 3 papers in the examination. The winner receives a £500 prize.
The only criteria for the application for the Canon Hall Senior Prize is that applicants must be members of the university of not more than 24 terms' standing. Students who have already received the prize are not eligible to receive another one.
