Students who want to study at St Cross College at the University of Oxford and have not been successful with applying elsewhere for a scholarship can apply for a Robin and Nadine Wells Scholarship. It is worth £5,000 but is not renewable in subsequent years. Scholarship holders are be entitled to a room in the college accommodation for the first year of their course.
In order to meet the criteria students must have been unsuccessful in a UK funding competition. They also need to provide proof that they have submitted a successful application for a one year Master's course at the University of Oxford. And they need to have applied to St Cross College. They need also to provide evidence that they are able to meet the remaining expenses by the application deadline. Academic ability is also a priority. The scholarship is not open to students who have already been accepted by another Oxford college.
