The David Kirby memorial fund serves to enable students of biological or human sciences to perform research. This research must be carried out during a vacation in one of the three years of undergraduate study. This must happen prior to the final exam. The research can be aimed at any field of biology, however reproduction is preferential. Payments can be up to 500 Pound Sterling. The awards are awarded annually by the Department of Zoology at Oxford University.
In order to be eligible for this award, students must be undergraduate students at Oxford in a field of biological or human sciences.
