The University College of London, Mathematics Department presents the opportunity for the John Hawkes Scholarship. It's primary purpose is to provide funds for third-year Pure Mathematics PhD students. When no suitable candidates are found, it may be distributed to other students in the same program. The amount offered is 12,000 Pounds (currently about 15,000 Euros) per year. Scholarships may last for a maximum of three years.
All students registered or accepted for an MPhil/PhD research in Pure Mathematics will be considered for the scholarship.
