City of Graz - Work Scholarship

General Description

The City of Graz awards (subject to approval of the Senate) two work scholarships in the amount of € 5.000,00 each for continuous artistic activity in the field of visual arts (painting, graphics, sculpture, object art, media and net art). The aim is the recognition of visual artists of Graz who will experience continuous support of their artistic work and are active in Graz itself. The scholarship recipients are obliged to present the results of their artistic activity of the relevant period within a year after receiving the award.

Requirements

This call is open to visual artists who are active in the City of Graz. The scholarship will be awarded to artists in the field of painting, graphics, sculpture, object art, media or net art. Candidates agree to present the results of their work to the public within one year after receiving the award.
