General Description
With this scholarship, The Richard Wagner Club aims to promote young artists by giving them the opportunity to visit selected performances as part of the Richard Wagner Festival in Bayreuth. The scholarship can only be awarded once. The scholarship involves preferably: festival tickets, entering lectures and a visit of the Festspielhaus, visit of the Franz Liszt- and the Jean Paul-Museum, and arrangement of accommodation.
Requirements
Eligible for this scholarship are: ordinary students of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna; singers (all voice types); musicians (e.g. composers, conductors, instrumentalists); drama performers (direction, stage design, lighting, stage mechanics), and other (dramatics, cultural studies). Required age limit is 18–35. Candidates should provide a verifiable high artistic qualification (comment of the teacher of the major subject), curriculum vitae and photo.
