This price is awarded by the Petyrek-Lang-Foundation. The allocation of the advancement awards is based on a music competition conducted every three years. The scope of this competition is the interpretation of serious music from 1920 onwards.

Requirements

Participants of this competition have to be enrolled in a continuous degree course at an Austrian music university.
