The Erwin Kräutler award is written out by the Centre for Intercultural Theology and Studies of Religion. It is awarded every two years. The honor aims to support young scholars who devoted themselves to the questions Erwin Kräutler is interested in: liberation theology, peace, justice and integrity of creation, intercultural and interreligious dialogue, theological reflection of economic, social and political developments on a global scale. Primary dissertations in the field of theology, handed in within the last two years before the application deadline, will be considered. The prize money is 3.000€.
Applicants must have completed their doctorate studies at the University of Salzburg.
