The High Potential Scholarship is offered by the University of Maastricht. It is expressely not a full scholarship, although the maximum awardable amounts are quite high. The scholarship office will arrange, and pay for health and liability insurance, as well as visa applications. In addition, up to 14,000 Euro of the tuition fee may be refunded, and up to 765 Euro per month may be paid for maintenance and living costs. It is available to non-EU/EEA students who wish to enroll in any Master's course with the Maastricht University. The scholarship is awarded for one or two years respectively, depending on the lenght of the masters programme.
Students must meet the requirements for the relevant masters course, as well as the requirements for a Dutch Visa. Also students must have a non-EU/EEA passport. Furthermore, students must be able to prove to Dutch immigration Services that they have the amount of € 834 per month. This scholarship alone is therefore not enough, and students must be able to supply the difference themselves. Finally, students must be under 35 at the time of application.
