Through the National Scholarship Programme eligible applicants can benefit from scholarships valued at £3,000 for either full-time or part-time studies at Bishop Grosseteste University. It is for students whose annual family income is less than £25,000. Successful applicants who are studying at the university will receive £1,000 as a cash payment. The balance of £2,000 is paid towards costs that are in the best interest of the student. In the case of part-time students the amount will only be paid to discount their tuition fees. The amount of time the student spends studying will be taken into consideration when determining the pro rata approach to take. It is available to both full-time and part-time students, but only for the first year of study.
Good academic qualifications are a qualifying factor. The student’s annual income is also assessed. There may be other differential criteria that Bishop Grosseteste University wishes to use to select applicants.
