Students of King's College who undertake an eligible Access to Professions programme, have the opportunity to receive The Access to Professions Bursary. These programmes are Extended Medical Degree and Dentistry. The bursaries will offer £9,000 in the first year of study.
Students must be 'Home' student with household incomes of £42,611 or less and have ‘firmly’ accepted an offer of a place at King’s on an eligible programme. They must be undertaking their first undergraduate degree programme and have been means tested and be in receipt of a maintenance grant.
Students who meet all the criteria, and have given 'consent to share' financial information with the College as part of the application to Student Finance England do not need to apply, they will automatically be considered for receiving the bursary. They will be notified if they have been awarded.
