Professor Ronald Hutton, department of Historical Studies in the University of Bristol, is leading the offered one funded project. It is designed to place the early modern European witch trials in global, medical and ancient perspectives more firmly. It aims to determine how far is the belief in witchcraft for the early modern European compared to those in various areas of the world in addition to other objectives. The funding will be an annual maintenance payment and full tuition fees for three years.
Applicants should have an upper second-class degree in addition to a taught Masters degree. EU or home fee status.
