The Nexen Scholarship values £3,000 cash award annually. The scholarship will be for 1 student in Mechanical Engineering major. The scholarship will be for 4 years including the year of MEng without the placement year. Applicants should apply online by 31 July. The scholarship is going to be allocated in the early days of September.
Applicants must be living in the UK, be a member of low-income family that is less than £25,000 per year, meet all of the academic conditions with Brunel’s offer, be accepted for studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bristol. Applicants must be qualified for receiving a tuition fee loan from the Student Finance England then sharing submitted data. They must agree on taking part in publicity and giving reports to Nexen. If two applicants meets the all of qualifications and have the same tariff points, the preference will be for the one who study the MEng qualification in the department of Mechanical Engineering. Preference will also be given to the applicant with lowest family income.
