Cardiff would like to assist students with CPLAN scholarships. There are two scholarships and they both worth between £2,000 and £3,000 as a cash payment. The scholarship is available for students studying BSc Geography (Human) or BSc Geography (Human) and planning. The scholarship will be paid on two installments, the first one on 18 November and the second one will be at the beginning of the second semester. There will be £667 offered for successful students each year.
Scholarships are presented for UK undergraduate students studying full-time. Applications must have their firm choice as Cardiff School of Planning and Geography. Applicants should offer a minimum of 3 A level results with A grade for one single exam period. Applicants with UCAS Tariff points equal to 3 A grades at level (e.g. A*A*C or A*AB) rather than 3 A grades or with an equivalent but have missed one of the grades or more won’t be eligible for the scholarship.
Students at Welsh Baccalaureate Core should have an equivalent to one A level at A grade (should have 2 other A grades at A level to meet the AAA equivalency). Those with IB qualification should have a minimum score of 16 points. BTec National Diploma requires Triple Distinction where all modules have to be at distinction level and to have a minimum of 18 modules. Scottish Higher requires 4 at grade A, Irish Leavers certificate requires 5 at grade A and Scottish Advanced Highers requires 3 at grade A.
