The UCLan Harris Bursary was created to assist students coming from working class homes since most of them are experiencing extreme social or financial hardship. It is created to prevent them dropping out higher education. The support is to provide studying-related items such as computer equipment and textbooks. 496 students were awarded bursaries over the last 5 years. For applying, you will need to apply at the Access to Learning Fund then if you meet the criteria of eligibility, you can be offered a bursary.
