The University College, University of London supports UK male students with family connections to Africa or the Caribbean to pursue their undergraduate studies at UCL by providing the Amos UCL Bursary. Up to five awards are available for an initial three-year period. Each year, the succesful recipient will be awarded £1,000 for the duration of their programme at UCL subject to satisfactory academic progress.
Students should apply directly to the Amos Bursary Committee. After nominated to UCL, the successful candidate will be notified before the start of the academic year.
Basically, the award is made on the basis of applicants’ background and academic potential. Applicants must be prospective male students who have family connections to Africa or the Caribbean and are intending to pursue their undergraduate studies at UCL. They must hold an offer of admission to UCL to study a full-time undergraduate degree.
