General Description
Six bursary sums of up to £500 are funded by Aston University to students at Aston who have attained a level of excellence within their chosen sport. Aston Sports Scholarship will fund appropriate activities such as sports equipment, physiotherapy or travel to training and/or competitions to assist each student with continuation of their sporting career whilst at University. Once selected, the successful scholars will be expected to represent Aston University in the BUCS competition throughout the academic year once they are awarded the prize. Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis and must be applied for in successive years.
Requirements
Candidates should be someone who will be a full-time student at Aston and have gained admission to the University on the basis of their academic merits. The should have attained County level representation or equivalent (U18/U21 or senior status) in their chosen sport. Application forms will be available in each academic year and must be returned before deadline date of the same year.
