The Bangor University offers bursaries to full-time, undergraduate students who are paying the full fee of £9,000. The Bangor Bursary will give extra financial help worth up to £4,500 over the duration of a three-year course. There is no need to apply for the bursary, since the eligible students will be automatically selected through the statutory means test carried out by Local Authority/Student Finance, when they complete the PN1 form.
The bursaries are available to student with a household income below £40,000, and are studying on a full-time undergraduate course with a tuition fee of £9,000 payable to Bangor University. Some PGCE students will also be eligible to receive Bangor bursaries. This will apply to PGCE students with a household income below £40,000 who are not eligible for ITT training grants (currently these are students training for primary teaching, and those studying the following secondary subjects: Art, Music, Outdoor Activities, Physical Education, and Religious Education). The bursaries are available to students from all parts of the EU and do NOT have to be paid back.
