General Description
The Cardiff Community Endowment Fund has more than one purpose at the Cardiff Metropolitan University. It was established to provide education bursaries to students who need assistance to buy equipment, course materials, or to pay course fees. The fund also provides grants to community groups and local charities which support people facing financial disadvantage. It is open to all individuals who have been a full-time resident in the local region for a minimum of 3 years. The fund also gives preference to those who attended one of Cardiff’s high schools.
Requirements
To apply for this fund an individual needs to have been a full-time resident in the Local Authority area of Cardiff. Applicants must have lived in the area for a minimum of three years. Local charities and community groups that benefit the residents of Cardiff can also apply.
