There are about 90 students from Hong Kong in Asia, who study at Northumbria University. They are enrolled in various programmes such as Accounting, applied Science, Architecture, Building Surveying, Business with Human Resource management, Cultural Management, Fashion, fine Art, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Mass Communication, Psychology and others. As international students, they have a chance of being awarded an International Academic Scholarship. It is to reward students with best academic achievements. The scholarship is based on several factors, like overall grades, individual subject grades, the level of qualifications and the type of institution where they studied. The amount of a scholarship is £2,000 or £1,500.
A students from Hong Kong need to have an overseas fee status. Only self-founding students are eligible for International Academic Scholarship. Full-time course students may apply.
