About 15% of all students at Northumbria University come from Malaysia. They are enrolled in various programmes such as Accounting, Applied Science, Biomedical Science, Food Science and Nutrition, Graphic Design, International Business Management, International Hospitality and Tourism, Interior Design, Law, Psychology, Quantity Surveying, Real Estate Management and others. As international students, they have an opportunity of being awarded an International Academic Scholarship. It is to reward students with outstanding academic achievements. The scholarship is based on a few factors, like overall grades, individual subject grades, the level of qualifications and the type of institution where they studied. The amount of a scholarship is £2,000 or £1,500.
A students from Malaysia need to have an overseas fee status. Only self-founding students are eligible for International Academic Scholarship. Full-time course students may apply.
