It is available to English students planning to attend the university full time. The bursary is valued at £1,000 per year. It is paid either as a fee waiver or as a cash award.
All applicants must be under the age of 25. And they must have been in local authority care for at least 13 weeks since the age of 14. They must also come from a low-income background. This means a household income of £25,000 or less per year. This bursary is for undergraduate degree students only.
